Black Forest German Restaurant in Harrisonburg

Food was great we usually try to hit German food wherever we go. The one thing I will say is the service is a little slow. Understandably they had only one cook guess some call outs but rather than not serve us at all they could have gotten us some beers to start. That aside maybe a one time thing the food was absolutely great if you are hitting the slopes and want something off property this is a must try!

It's my wife's favorite restaurant and she's pretty picky. The food is amazing. The atmosphere is great. The service is warm, friendly, and efficient. My wife and I treat ourselves to this establishment about once a year. And it really has been a treat every time. I HIGHLY recommend this venue. You will love it.

Great food! First time here and we loved it. The only reason for four stars is the ambience. I wish it had more of a Bavarian feel to the interior--but the service and food make up for it. Clean facility.

This place is pretty laid back (you know how some places have really annoying wait staff that never leave u be so you can get into the flavor of your meal? These guys arent always bothering you :) )all staff is friendly and helpful, good beer, good food, prices are good also! Everyone should eat here at least once in their life its worth it! Oh btw they have huge beers!!!!!!! ***thirsty anyone? ;)
